Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our ISO 27001 certified Information Security Management System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Posture Maintenance: Coordinate access reviews, backups, and ensure the overall security posture of the organization.
  • Information Security Support: Provide support to the software development process, ensuring that security needs are met and integrated into the development lifecycle.
  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring that the organization is prepared for any potential disruptions.
  • Software Tool Lifecycle Management: Support the management of software tools, ensuring that they are properly maintained, updated, and secured.
  • Security Awareness Training: Provide security awareness training to employees, ensuring that they are equipped to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in Information Security roles
  • Experience with security and privacy standards such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity framework, SOC1/2, HIPAA/PIPEDA/GDPR, etc.
  • Any of CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA certifications are beneficial to the role but not a requirement where candidate has equivalent experience
  • Proven track record in successful implementation of policy and systems
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple activities and objectives
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingual in English & French seen as an asset
