Team Leader Night Shift

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Night Shift team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience and building customer loyalty.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of retail staff, providing coaching, training, and performance management to ensure high-quality workmanship and service.
- Department Management: Manage and maintain a high-quality department presentation, ensuring all store audit performance requirements are met.
- Staffing and Scheduling: Ensure the department is appropriately staffed through effective planning and scheduling, according to store budget and customer needs.
- Operations: Supervise and assist team members in daily departmental operations, ensuring productivity goals are met.
- Communication: Communicate and ensure compliance with company, store, and department policies, as well as health and safety programs and regulations.
- Experience: 1 year of retail sales, execution, and operations experience, with demonstrated supervisory, leadership, and/or managerial experience.
- Skills: Ability to operate a cash register, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to motivate and coach others, and ability to plan, organize, delegate, and follow up on team's activities and projects.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
