About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned talent management professional to join our People & Culture team at Wave HQ. As the Director of Talent Acquisition and Development, you'll play a key part in building a high-performance organization through a culture of continuous learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development of an inclusive recruitment process that reflects Wave's values and strategic direction, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and a best-in-class candidate experience.
  • Design and deliver internal training and certification programs for hiring managers, enhancing and promoting Wave's Employee Value Proposition and employer brand to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Lead the development of innovative recruitment processes and sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill positions, collaborating with stakeholders across Wave to design and deliver impactful learning programs.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent development strategy in collaboration with the P&C team, supporting Wave's transformation and objectives.
  • Exercise commercial-mindedness while managing budgets and expenditures, keeping up-to-date on talent acquisition and talent development trends and practices.
  • Champion equity and diversity in all talent programs and processes, supporting an inclusive culture and work environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in talent management, with experience as a successful people leader.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of talent sourcing and selection techniques and effective use of technology.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with a passion for building an inclusive work environment.
  • Experience with Lever and Lattice is an asset.
