Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by serving customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders, and handling customer inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
