Position Overview:

  • Support the Supervisor and Senior Personnel in the organization and oversight of project management for designated initiatives.
  • Execute Project Management methodologies for phase-gating, integration, scope, scheduling, budgeting, change management, communication, reporting, and risk assessment.
  • Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction activities of projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, budgetary, and scheduling objectives.
  • Develop Business Case Proposals for project endorsement and financial allocation to upper management.
  • Engage with stakeholders, regulatory entities, and agencies while managing project costs and timelines.
  • Address challenges to guarantee project goals are met and modifications are handled per established protocols.
  • Remain updated on construction practices, budgeting, estimating, and scheduling methodologies.

Required Qualifications: Education

  • Proficiency in physics, engineering concepts, mathematics, chemistry, economics, and business fundamentals.
  • Comprehension of project management principles and completion of pertinent coursework.
  • Strong English communication capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent educational background.

Experience

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in project management.
  • Familiarity with project requirements, cost estimation, contract bidding, project execution, and closure phases.
  • Knowledge of commercial contracting practices, construction techniques, quality assurance, health, and safety standards.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Capability to manage projects of increasing complexity.
