About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Yorkville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our surgeons in delivering high-quality dental services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials to the highest standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintain and order supplies to ensure a smooth operation of our dental clinic.
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety.
  • Educate patients concerning oral hygiene and provide personalized guidance to promote good oral health.
  • Take and develop X-rays to assist in diagnosing dental conditions and monitoring treatment progress.
  • Invoice patients for dental services accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for long periods and lifting equipment.

  • Be available to work a permanent schedule, with 30-40 hours per week and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Speak and write fluently in English to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
