Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our team at KWC Fabricated Products Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial sewing machines to perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment
  • Set in sleeves, pockets, collars, and other garment pieces
  • Use sewing guides and tension devices to ensure high-quality production
  • Work with a variety of materials, including canvas, cotton or synthetic, knits, and leather
  • Operate equipment such as industrial sewing machines, leather stitching machines, piping or binding machines, sergers or overlocks, and single needle machines
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in commercial sewing
  • Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • 40 hours per week, permanent position
  • English language proficiency
