About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, Services Sales - Western Canada to join our sales team at Metso. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding a team of self-driven sales experts in defining unique solutions to maximize our customers' comminution process.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting and forecasting on the sales results and performance of the region.
- Coordinating customer satisfaction program (NPS) activities.
- Analyzing results and defining proper win plan for strategic opportunities to meet targets.
- Establishing sales objectives by analyzing markets and projecting orders/sales volumes.
- Maintaining sales volume by tracking key performance indicators such as economic indicators.
- Keeping up-to-date with developments, trends, and advancements related to sales and marketing.
- Identifying strengths / weaknesses and teaching relevant skills, tactics and techniques.
- Maintaining, nurturing and leveraging relationships with key decision makers of all accounts.
- Contributing to local strategy, market development, and sales competency development initiatives.
- Mentoring, training, and hiring site account managers as required.
- Undertaking administrative tasks.
Requirements
- 5-10 years' experience in heavy industry sales preferably with mineral processing equipment and/or related products.
- Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge of comminution and beneficiation processes and applications.
- Excellent oral/written communication, organizational, problem-solving & troubleshooting skills required.
- Experience working in a customer-focused and service-oriented environment.
