Job Title: Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Frulact Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency, and leading a team of 11-15 people. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food processing, quality assurance, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Minimize hazards at all stages of the food production process
  • Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
  • Prepare production and other reports
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Provide advice in the area of food preparation and storage, and food safety
  • Monitor quality and production levels
  • Direct quality control inspections
  • Conduct quality audits
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fast-paced environment and attention to detail
