About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cement Finishing Foreman/Woman to join our team at BuildCo Contracting Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cement finishing process and ensuring that our projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of cement finishing crew members
  • Ensure that all cement finishing work is completed to the required standards
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of cement finishing equipment
  • Recruit and train new crew members
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • At least 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors in a noisy and physically demanding environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced environment
