Job Title: Cement Finishing Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Cement Finishing Supervisor to join our team at BuildCo Contracting Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cement finishing operations on our residential and commercial construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of cement finishing teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, including any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the skills of cement finishing team members to ensure they have the necessary expertise to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed on site, and that team members are aware of and comply with these regulations.
  • Coordinate the requisitioning and ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for cement finishing operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and productivity of cement finishing operations.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a noisy environment at heights.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
