Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at Omega AS. As a key member of our Project Execution Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our capital projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain outage plans for our regulated and non-regulated operations, ensuring seamless coordination with our Resource and Production Planning department and regional operations planning groups.
  • Collaborate with our Capital Planning Department to review engineering labor requirements and develop project schedules for upcoming capital work, including tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Conduct engineering labor analysis and resource leveling exercises to identify resource constraints and optimize project planning.
  • Work closely with our project teams to link critical activities and outages across multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruptions.
  • Develop long-term outage plans (2-5 years out) for planned capital work, considering impacts on generation outage planning due to upcoming major generation capital projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in planning and scheduling.
  • Expert knowledge of capital planning techniques and project execution methodologies.
  • Field experience working in the utilities industry, particularly in capital project environments, is considered an asset.
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera and MS Office Suite products.
