As a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have access to fresh and high-quality produce. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and zoning the produce area, assisting with stocking and sales, and adhering to strict food safety and handling procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Zones the department to ensure efficient and effective stock management.
- Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain product freshness and quality.
- Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet company standards.
- Adheres to cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and food handling procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and ensures the department is fully stocked with merchandise.
- Follows Health and Safety guidelines and applies product protection when required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
