Job Summary

GSD TRANSPORT INC. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Operations
    • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
    • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
    • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Communication and Record-Keeping
    • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • AZ class license
    • Valid driver's licence
  • Experience and Education
    • Experience an asset
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Other Benefits
