Medical Laboratory Technologist I, Core Lab Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist I to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our Core Lab team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various laboratory tasks, including blood collection, specimen processing, and specialized testing using advanced laboratory instruments.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure efficient and accurate laboratory results.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or equivalent degree required.
- Valid CSMLS and NSCMLT registration/licensure required.
- Proficiency in multiple laboratory functions is essential.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
