Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Weeneebayko Area Health Authority. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to clients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Plan, carry out, and evaluate nursing care to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of practice and regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Exercise judgment in meeting patient needs, making informed decisions to ensure optimal care
Requirements
  • Diploma from an approved Practical Nurse program with medication certificate
  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Mandatory certification in CPR
  • Reliable and cooperative, with effective interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to communicate in the local native Cree language is an asset
