Store Manager Job Description

Showcase is a dynamic retailer seeking a seasoned Store Manager to lead our Aberdeen Mall store. As a national retailer with 150 bricks-and-mortar stores, we offer emerging trendy products from social media, including health, beauty, home, toys, tech, and novelty food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day store operations and achieve sales targets
  • Recruit, train, develop, and manage a high-performing team of sales associates
  • Create a positive and engaging environment for customers and associates
  • Analyze sales and financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive traffic and sales, including social media and community outreach programs
  • Ensure the store is visually appealing and merchandised to showcase products effectively
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with the District Manager to manage inventory
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and maximizing profitability
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Knowledge of social media and digital marketing trends
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Experience in the health, beauty, home, toys, tech, or food industry is a plus

Compensation: $45,000-$50,000 yearly
