We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Itvjob. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Project Administration: Provide overall contract administration, technical expertise, and support to a medium-sized construction project.
- Safety Management: Develop and implement a project safety plan, leading by example for health and safety practices and procedures.
- Project Delivery: Ensure the project is constructed as per design, budget, resources, quality, and schedule.
- Value Engineering: Understand client drivers and offer value engineering proposals for functionality, cost, and schedule benefit.
- Project Performance: Manage project performance and provide performance status reports for safety, cost forecast, and schedule.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and issue subcontracts, major purchase orders, and progress payments, and monitor their progress and schedule.
- Contract Compliance: Understand, communicate, and enforce the contract and contract documents.
- Project Closeout: Develop and coordinate overall project closeout.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage risk and opportunities on construction projects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Experience: 8–10 years of progressive construction experience with leadership and mentoring preferred.
- Safety Culture: Demonstrated experience implementing a strong safety culture by application of health, safety, and environment principles and legislation.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, including building materials, construction specifications, methods, and procedures, construction law, and building codes, and safety and quality management practices.
- Planning and Organization: Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, including the ability to manage project budgets and schedules.
- Risk and Opportunity Management: Ability to identify and manage risk and opportunities on construction projects.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, project management, and scheduling software, with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
