Position Overview

Richelieu Hardware is seeking a dedicated Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will manage the entry of orders received via various channels including fax and email.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle incoming calls directed to our customer service center.
  • Process orders received through email, fax, and phone communications.
  • Ensure appropriate follow-up on orders as necessary.
  • Engage in training sessions to stay updated on new product offerings.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient keyboarding skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience in customer service roles.
  • Experience in a call center environment is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Quick learner with the capacity to absorb information efficiently.
  • Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Background in the Cabinet & Millwork or similar industries is advantageous.
  • Experience in hardware distribution is beneficial.
