Job Title: Construction Helper

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Construction Helper to join our team at ABCO Construction. As a Construction Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of experienced personnel.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites with proper safety protocols in place.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings safely and efficiently.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure the upkeep of our equipment and tools.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites as needed.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
