Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at ABCO Construction. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of experienced personnel.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, following established safety protocols.
  • Participate in the demolition of buildings, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of equipment and tools.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Work Environment

As a Construction Laborer, you will work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and noise levels. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety and the safety of others.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.

Work Term and Language
