Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team at CBC/Radio-Canada. As a key member of our System Operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our core computing and storage platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Windows and Linux servers in an enterprise environment
  • Design and implement network services such as DNS and DHCP
  • Provide technical expertise and support to internal partners and vendors
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute changes to our infrastructure
  • Act as an internal systems expert, providing training and guidance to colleagues
Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Expert-level knowledge of operating system architecture and usage (Linux, Microsoft Windows)
  • Intermediate to advanced scripting skills, with experience in PowerShell and BASH
  • Familiarity with VMware and common storage technologies
  • Ability to work creatively and independently, with excellent interpersonal skills
