REGULAR PART-TIME PHYSIOTHERAPIST – Rehabilitation Department

Key Responsibilities

• Immediate availability for the position

• Variable caseload and schedule focusing on acute inpatient care (medical/surgical) and involvement in orthopedic programs

• Evening and weekend shifts may be required

• Travel to offsite facilities is anticipated

Required Qualifications

• Submission of vaccination documentation or proof of immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (chicken pox), along with evidence of two COVID-19 vaccinations

• Documentation of Tuberculosis skin testing conducted within the last year

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy

• Active membership with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario

• Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association is preferred

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

• Self-motivated with proven leadership skills

• Strong commitment to teamwork

• Capable of planning and organizing assigned caseloads and specific treatment plans

• Ability to delegate tasks to other team members as necessary

• Proven effective communication skills with patients, staff, and the public

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical education

• Dedication to evidence-based practice and adaptability to change

• Basic computer proficiency in a Windows environment
