Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in extensive research and the application of cutting-edge technologies, particularly in AI and computer vision, to improve our manufacturing operations.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to grasp intricate business needs and devise advanced AI-driven solutions.
  • Oversee data collection and preprocessing from both automated and manual systems, ensuring the highest standards of data quality.
  • Examine structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, converting raw data into actionable insights through sophisticated ETL processes and detailed visualization tools.
  • Build and enhance machine learning models, focusing on training, fine-tuning, and assessing model performance.
  • Design and deploy computer vision applications, including image classification and object detection tailored for manufacturing contexts.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in data science, machine learning, and computer vision, applying new knowledge to current projects.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Data Analysis, with a proven history of impactful contributions.
  • Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, or a related analytical discipline.
  • Expertise in Python and familiarity with PyTorch deep learning frameworks.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer vision methodologies relevant to manufacturing, including Image Classification and Object Detection.
  • Strong mathematical skills, with a solid grasp of linear algebra, optimization, and statistics.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) for efficient data processing and model deployment.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating a tech-savvy approach and a passion for learning new technologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with the skill to translate complex business challenges into scalable AI solutions.
  • Research experience with published work in reputable journals or conferences is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with large datasets and robotics is advantageous.
