Key Responsibilities
- Engage in thorough research and application of cutting-edge technologies and advanced AI and computer vision frameworks to refine our manufacturing operations.
- Work collaboratively with diverse teams to decipher intricate business needs and craft sophisticated AI solutions tailored to meet these requirements.
- Execute comprehensive data gathering and preprocessing from both automated and manual systems, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and quality.
- Examine structured and unstructured data from various origins, converting raw information into actionable insights through the development of advanced ETL processes and detailed visualization dashboards.
- Design, enhance, and assess machine learning models, focusing on training, fine-tuning, and evaluating for peak performance.
- Architect and deploy computer vision applications, including image classification (e.g., convolutional neural networks - CNNs) and object detection (e.g., YOLO models), specifically for manufacturing contexts.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in data science, machine learning, and computer vision, applying this knowledge to ongoing projects.
Essential Qualifications
- 8+ years of expertise in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Data Analysis, with a proven history of delivering impactful results.
- Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, or a related analytical discipline.
- Proficient in Python and familiar with PyTorch deep learning frameworks.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience with computer vision methodologies relevant to manufacturing, including Image Classification, Object Detection, Semantic Segmentation, and Action Recognition.
- Strong mathematical background, with a solid grasp of linear algebra, optimization, and statistics.
- Experience utilizing cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) for scalable data processing and model deployment.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating a tech-savvy mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and application of new technologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of translating complex business challenges into scalable AI solutions.
- Research experience with published work in reputable journals or conferences is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with large datasets and robotics is advantageous.
