We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Water and Wastewater Project Manager to join our team at Cari. As a key member of our infrastructure delivery team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all phases of water and wastewater infrastructure projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the design and construction phases of municipal infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Develop and implement project management plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including design and construction phases.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, including financial, technical, and operational risks.
- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, financial reports, and technical reports.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 25 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure delivery, including project management and technical expertise.
- Registration or ability to obtain professional registration with a provisional Engineering Association.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including design and construction phases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, infrastructure design, and construction management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
