About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Water Practice Business Development group in Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the execution of various ongoing projects, managing project deliverables, and ensuring they meet or exceed GHD's internal and external client quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support business development activities, including client relationship development, project capture planning, and proposal preparation.
  • Work directly with senior engineers and technical teams to lead project execution.
  • Manage projects with direct communication with clients, subconsultants, and contractors.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed GHD's internal and external client quality objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer Designation.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation considered an asset.
  • Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience in multi-discipline water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Proven track record in business development, project capture planning, and proposal writing.
  • Proven experience in technical and business leadership and management of water and wastewater treatment projects and project teams through the study, design, and construction phases.
  • In-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of construction methods, logistics, equipment, and methodology selection.
  • Familiar with cost estimating and scheduling related to treatment infrastructure.
  • Experience in risk management analysis, evaluation, and presentation to the client.
  • Experience in preparation of detailed design reports and construction reporting.
  • Liaise with other disciplines, professionals, clients, and third parties as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and report writing skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
