About the Role

Verve Senior Living is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily and weekly cleaning and vacuuming of resident suites, offices, and common areas, adhering to established procedures and schedules.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment, carts, and storage areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Replenish paper supplies and hand soap as required.
  • Provide general assistance to residents, including setting up continental breakfast and performing laundry duties as necessary.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Comply with all corporate policies and procedures, including occupational health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum grade 10 education.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions in the English language.
  • Visual acuity to ensure cleaning tasks are performed to standards.
  • Physical ability to perform duties and withstand long periods of standing.
  • Experience in a long-term care or retirement home setting in a housekeeping department is preferred.
