The Financial Reporting Analyst plays a crucial role in the development of financial reports and conducting various analyses for management and stakeholders. This position also involves executing and strategizing internal control measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of monthly financial reports while ensuring the precision of the data presented;
- Gather and organize financial information to substantiate the relevant accounting entries in the general ledger;
- Oversee and reconcile balance sheet accounts assigned to him/her;
- Analyze budget discrepancies and clarify their implications;
- Design and enforce internal control systems;
- Contribute to the preparations for annual external audits;
- Engage in various special projects as required;
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting along with 1 to 5 years of relevant experience;
- CPA certification is preferred;
- Technical Skills: Proficient in advanced Excel functions (Power Query, Power Pivot, etc.) and comfortable with accounting ERP systems. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is advantageous;
- Team Collaboration: A genuine team player who fosters collaboration with colleagues to enhance learning. You are skilled at building strong relationships and becoming a valued business partner whose insights are highly regarded;
- Effective Time Management: You possess an exceptional ability to focus under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You are adept at organizing your time to consistently meet deadlines;
- Analytical Mindset: Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills;
- Meticulousness: You demonstrate professionalism and precision, ensuring the accuracy of all information provided;
- Bilingual Communication: Proficient in both French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
