About the Role:

Fiera Capital is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our financial reporting team, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, as well as managing relationships with third-party service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers, including auditors, translators, and typesetting service providers
  • Develop and write new content, including financial reports and other documentation
  • Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Perform validation checks to detect potential errors
  • Review documents for layout and compositional errors
  • Manage deadlines and monitor progress of financial statement preparation and production

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field
  • CPA designation or in process of obtaining it
  • 1-3 years of experience preparing and analyzing financial statements
  • Good knowledge of IFRS and regulation 81-106
  • Passionate about accounting and financial reporting
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Meticulous, methodical, and sharp sense of observation
  • Autonomous, sense of organization, and ability to prioritize
  • Client-service oriented and team spirit
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Fluently bilingual (English and French) both written and oral
