Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team in Fund Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing relationships with third-party service providers, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports for Fiera's various fund structures.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers, including auditors, translators, and typesetting service providers.
  • Develop and write new content, including financial statements and management reports.
  • Proofread documents to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Perform validation checks, including variance analysis, to detect potential errors.
  • Review documents for layout and compositional errors.
  • Manage deadlines and monitor progress of financial statement preparation and management report production.
  • Compare original and translated documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Participate in various projects to optimize processes for Fiera's funds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience preparing and analyzing financial statements.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS.
  • Basic knowledge of regulation.
  • Passionate about accounting.
  • Experience in fund administration or fund accounting is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Meticulous, methodical, and sharp sense of observation.
  • Autonomous, sense of organization, and ability to prioritize.
  • Client-service oriented and team spirit.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluently bilingual (English and French) both written and oral.
