About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team at Airport Inn. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in programs that support newcomers and refugees, and provide assistance with foreign credential recognition.
  • Youth Employment: Participate in programs that support youth employment, and offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Veterans: Participate in programs that support Veterans, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Indigenous People: Participate in programs that support Indigenous people.
  • Visible Minorities: Participate in programs that support members of visible minorities.
