Food Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team at Big Bee Food Mart. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering merchandise, and authorizing returns to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Establish and maintain work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and coach staff to improve performance and achieve sales targets.
- Manage cash handling, oversee payroll administration, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless store operations and achieve business objectives.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail or food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
