Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in managing a broad spectrum of human resources functions, including:

  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws
  • Overseeing the recruitment process
  • Managing employee relations
  • Administering employee benefits programs

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the point of contact for HR-related inquiries and concerns
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as Health & Safety and Payroll
  • Assisting and coordinating the implementation of trainings for learning and development initiatives personalized to the region's needs
  • Coordinating and administering wellness & benefits programs
  • Overseeing the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting interviews
  • Assisting Managers with employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
  • Assisting in the implementation and interpretation of HR policies and procedures

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field with work experience
  • Bilingualism (French/English)
  • Experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR generalist functions
  • Knowledge of Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia labor laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Travel Requirement

About 5 to 10% throughout the year.
