About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Osmow's Shawarma. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate and personal tax returns.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College or equivalent experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
