We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records for our clients at Black Box Consultancy Services Incorporated.
Educational Requirements- Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
This role requires on-site engagement, providing direct customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
- Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation.
- Maintain and balance various accounts through both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries accurately.
- Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance.
- Compile trial balances of financial records.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Windows.
- Experience with QuickBooks and SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD).
- Ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and tight deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrates accuracy and reliability.
- Strong client focus and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibits excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Shows flexibility and organizational skills.
- Works well as part of a team.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 32.5 hours per week.
- Working language is English.
