About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Experience Designer to join our Lenovo Design + Innovation team. As a key member of our global team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of hardware and software interactions at Lenovo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Build strong relationships with research teams, user experience, software, and engineering teams to understand requirements and drive short- and long-term goals.
  • User Research and Feedback: Work closely with research teams to capture customer needs and integrate user feedback into design-centered solutions.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the field to create effective AI solutions.
  • Design and Prototyping: Build the foundation for harmonious software and hardware solutions, crafting industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution.
  • Communication and Storytelling: Communicate user interaction at all stages of the design process with storyboards, sketches, wireframes, flow diagrams, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Strategic Planning: Visualize the future of software and hardware interactions, develop and communicate tiered strategies for execution with key checkpoints and goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in hardware/software design or user experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Portfolio: An excellent portfolio showcasing hardware and software interactions, product concepts, user interface mockups, and prototypes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint), Adobe CS (Photoshop & Illustrator), Figma, Axure, XD, etc.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to international sites.
