Senior Experience Designer at Lenovo

Lenovo, a leading global technology company, is seeking a Senior Experience Designer to enhance their Design + Innovation team. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic, forward-thinking, and possess strong collaborative skills. As a Senior Experience Designer, you will play a crucial role in envisioning and developing the future of integrated hardware and software solutions at Lenovo.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with diverse teams, including research and engineering, to create exceptional user experiences from initial concept through to final implementation. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in fields such as Industrial Design, User Experience, or Human-Computer Interaction, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in design for hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Incorporate user insights into design-focused solutions
  • Remain informed about the latest industry trends
  • Design cohesive software and hardware experiences
  • Articulate user interactions through various design methodologies
  • Formulate and convey strategies for effective execution
  • Contribute additional value to the team beyond defined responsibilities
Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in hardware/software design or user experience

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in hardware and software interactions
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities and technical knowledge
  • Experience in building and nurturing partnerships
  • Skilled in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Willingness to travel internationally
