About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at SUBWAY. As a Food Service Team Member, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Portion and wrap foods to ensure accurate and efficient service.
    • Package take-out food to meet customer expectations.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Housekeeping
    • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Health and Safety
    • Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Report any health and safety concerns to management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
