About the Role

As a RAMS Engineer at CS GROUP, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety of our products and services. Your primary focus will be on performing project RAMS tasks, conducting analyses, and developing safety assurance management plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform project RAMS tasks at system, subsystem, or equipment level, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct RAMS analyses, including safety and reliability assessments, to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and review safety assurance management plans, ensuring alignment with CENELEC standards and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess RAMS performance and identify necessary requirements to achieve RAMS targets.
  • Review and develop systems HW/SW analyses, including PHA, SHA, SSHA, IHA, O&SHA, using safety analysis techniques such as FMECAs, FTA, ETA, RBD, and CCF.
  • Develop and maintain Hazard Log Management tools and processes.

Requirements

  • Masters's degree in engineering, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Rail Safety & RAM.
  • Knowledge of safety and RAM engineering processes, methods, and tools.
  • Understanding of railway systems.
  • Pro-active, flexible personality, and open-minded spirit.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards, such as EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, and EN50159.
  • Good understanding of complex systems architectures, functional design, schematics, and drawings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
