Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety Expert

About the Role

As a key member of the CS GROUP team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety of our systems. We are seeking an experienced RAMS Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our safety and reliability processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform RAMS analyses and tasks at system level, subsystem level, or equipment level, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Develop and review System Safety Assurance analyses and management plans, adhering to CENELEC standards, including EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, and EN50159.
  • Contribute to the assessment of RAMS performance and the identification of necessary RAMS requirements to achieve targets.
  • Review and develop systems HW/SW analyses, including PHA, SHA, SSHA, IHA, O&SHA, using safety analysis techniques such as FMECAs, FTA, ETA, RBD, and CCF.
  • Develop processes and procedures for setting up and maintaining Hazard Log Management tools.

Requirements

  • Masters's degree in engineering, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Rail Safety & RAM.
  • Knowledge of Safety & RAM engineering processes, methods, and tools is mandatory.
  • Understanding of railway systems.
  • Pro-active, flexible personality, and open-minded spirit.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards, such as EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, and EN50159.
  • Good understanding of complex systems architectures, functional design, schematics, and drawings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and good communication capability to interact with internal and external technical teams.
