Marketing Specialist

About the Role:
The Specialist, Brand Marketing will provide tactical support for the development and execution of marketing campaigns and programs for the Super Market Division. This role will work closely with the Director, Brand Development, Super Market Division, and cross-functional campaign teams to analyze insights and trends, and ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of social media strategy and content calendar, and lead social content briefs, reviews, and feedback on creative.
- Assist in campaign planning, including compiling consumer/business insights and pulling in relevant past campaign data to advise standard processes.
- Coordinate with internal/external agency counterparts and other partners for the review and approval of creative, and closely review creative against established brand guidelines.
- Monitor in-flight campaigns for optimization opportunities, flag them to the team, and implement decisions.
- Contribute to the post-mortem process, including working with partners to compile campaign performance reports, participating in post-mortem discussions, and documenting findings.
- Support budget planning, development, and monitoring/updating, including status reports, and update brand/project/important metric dashboards.
Requirements:
- High degree of accountability and strong organization skills.
- Ability to balance delivery for multiple projects & priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of general marketing strategy and business principles, including key performance metrics.
- Knowledge of leading and emerging social media platforms, content trends, and tactics to grow organic reach, engagement, and following.
- Strong oral presentation skills.
- Marketing brief writing.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- 1-3 years of experience in CPG or Retail Marketing environment, supporting marketing campaigns, including writing marketing briefs.
- Experience working in teams, preference for cross-functional team experience.
- Experience owning projects from planning to execution.
