- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement daily operation plans, ensuring that all transportation activities are coordinated and executed efficiently.
- Plan for Changes to Schedules and Policies: Anticipate and prepare for changes to schedules and policies, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to operations.
- Prepare Reports for Senior Management: Provide regular reports to senior management on transportation operations performance, highlighting areas of success and areas for improvement.
- Recruit and Supervise Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of transportation staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Manage Finances or Budget: Oversee the financial aspects of transportation operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Arrange for Shipping Documentation and Tracking: Ensure that all shipping documentation is accurate and complete, and that goods are tracked and traced throughout the transportation process.
- Ensure Transport Compliance with Regulations: Ensure that all transportation activities comply with relevant regulations, including safety and security protocols.
- Establish and Implement Policies and Standards: Develop and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Negotiate for Services and Rates: Negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible rates and services for our transportation operations.
- Oversee Scheduling and Dispatching: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in good condition.
- Oversee Transportation Service Rates and Revenue: Monitor and manage transportation service rates and revenue, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 5 years or more
