About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Infrastructure Developer to join our team at Unity. As a key member of our data infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-hosted data infrastructures, ensuring their operational stability, performance, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Improve the stability and performance of our Druid, Streaming, Iceberg, Trino, and MySQL infrastructures.
  2. Participate in the on-call rotation for these infrastructures.
  3. Focus on monitoring, cost reduction, and performance improvements.
  4. Develop scripts in Python to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  5. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
Requirements
  1. Experience working in an Ops team (DevOps or DataOps) with a focus on cloud infrastructures, either on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  2. Experience with AWS and GCP, including k8s (on AWS EKS or GCP GKE).
  3. Experience with Streaming technologies (Spark Streaming, Spark Structured Streaming, or Flink).
  4. Experience with databases (Druid, Trino).
