Assistant Professor Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Professor to join our Strategic Management Area at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025.
Responsibilities- Conduct innovative and independent research in strategic management, with a focus on publishing in top-tier academic journals.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in strategic management, with a strong emphasis on integrating theory and practice.
- Supervise graduate students and contribute to the development of the Strategic Management Area.
- Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and outreach activities.
The successful candidate will have a PhD degree in management or a cognate discipline, with a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching. We seek candidates whose research and teaching interests complement and enhance our existing strengths.
Candidates must provide evidence of research excellence, including a strong research statement, a job-market paper, and additional research papers or publications. They must also demonstrate excellence in teaching, including a strong teaching dossier and a willingness to undertake graduate supervision.
