Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Beryl Mining Services Ltd. in Calgary, AB.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to work on various projects, including mine waste and tailings management, geotechnical investigations, and construction quality assurance. The successful candidate will have experience with geotechnical software, data analysis, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide geotechnical engineering support to mine waste and tailings management projects
  • Carry out engineering data analyses and design work for projects at stages ranging from scoping to detailed engineering and construction
  • Assist with planning and supervising geotechnical subsurface investigations
  • Assist with writing geotechnical reports and technical communications
Requirements:
  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (geotechnical, civil or a related field)
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T) with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with preference given to Oil & Gas (Oil Sands) experience in large civil earthworks construction mining related projects
