We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Director, Operations and Client Services to join our team at BGIS. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in facility management, account management, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the operations and maintenance activities of a portfolio of facilities, including the execution of programs and projects.
- Develop and implement short to mid-term plans for the assigned region(s), collaborating with relevant stakeholders to optimize facilities and create value for clients.
- Manage budgets, including the development of budgets (O&M, transaction, capital projects, and rent) and the ability to support and explain the approach to clients and the account team.
- Meet annual targets as per contractual performance and client financial targets/indicators, tracking and reporting on budget positive or negative trends performance regularly.
- Participate in, provide recommendations, and contribute to continuous improvement projects to achieve efficiency gains and cost savings.
- Collaborate with BGIS teams in Janitorial, Project Management, and Technical Services to maximize efficiency and deliver best-in-class services to buildings/portfolios.
- Mentor staff in vendor management and the effective use of technology for vendor relationships, providing guidance on financial management and career progression.
- Community college diploma in business administration or a related field.
- More than 10 years of facility management work experience, with a strong background in account management, client relationship management, and facility operations management.
- Highly skilled at managing service delivery and meeting service delivery obligations, with a strong ability to build and manage relationships with client representatives at the senior management level.
- Skilled at managing budgets, vendor management, and emergency management, with a strong ability to implement facility management services best practices and maintain current knowledge of building standards and requirements.
- Possesses a continuous improvement and quality mindset, with a desire to continuously seek and incorporate innovative practices and technologies to deliver value to clients.
- Certified Facility Manager from the International Facility Management Association.
- Certified Property Manager from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
- Facility Management Administrator Designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.
- Real Property Administrator Designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.
