Position Overview

Waiward Industrial is seeking a qualified HSE Construction Advisor to oversee safety protocols at our project sites. This role is temporary with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards and promoting a culture of safety within the workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor adherence to safety regulations and organizational policies
  • Encourage a culture of safety and deliver safety training sessions
  • Conduct thorough investigations into safety incidents
  • Perform site evaluations and safety inspections

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in the construction sector
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication abilities

Work Environment

This role involves both office and fieldwork, with exposure to moderate noise levels. Physical demands include standing, sitting, climbing, and navigating uneven terrain. The position may also require working at heights and in confined spaces.
