Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Taxation Expert to join our team at Chemtrade. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and evolution of our global tax function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Tax Planning and Compliance: Ensure that our company is in compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, both domestically and internationally.
  • Lead Tax Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies that align with our business objectives and ensure optimal tax efficiency.
  • Manage Tax Operations: Oversee the day-to-day tax operations, including tax returns, audits, and other tax-related matters.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our finance, accounting, and legal teams to ensure seamless integration of tax functions.
  • Develop and Implement Tax Controls: Establish and maintain effective tax controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years of Tax Experience: Proven experience in taxation, with a strong background in corporate tax and international tax.
  • Advanced Tax Knowledge: Expertise in Canadian corporate taxation, tax accounting under IFRS, and international tax.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex tax issues and develop effective solutions.
