About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Stock Associate to join our team at 1084463 B.C. LTD. As a key member of our stockroom team, you will be responsible for maintaining a well-stocked and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Direct customers to the location of articles sought, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Inventory Management: Unpack products received by the store, count, weigh, or sort items, and record incoming stock.
  • Stockroom Operations: Order stock, stock shelves and display areas, and maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
  • Price Management: Price items using stamps or stickers according to the price list.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors.
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Cross-Cultural Training: Participate in diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Youth Support: Contribute to awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Indigenous Support: Participate in cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Mature Worker Support: Participate in awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
